NMMC-West Point Names Holmes as Employee of the Quarter
NMMC-West Point Administrator Barry Keel (second from right), along with Chris Ellis (left), excecutive chef, and Robert Resmondo (right), regional director of operations for Morrison Healthcare, recently presented the hospital’s Employee of the Quarter award to Adrianna Holmes.
WEST POINT, Miss.—Adrianna Holmes, cashier in Food and Nutrition Services, has been selected by her peers as North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point’s Employee of the Quarter.
Holmes graduated from West Point High School in 2010 and joined the hospital staff in March 2018.
Holmes’ peers say she gets to know her patients as she delivers meal trays and goes out of her way to meet their needs. “Adrianna not only takes care of the patients, but engages the needs of family and friends of patients who may be in the room with the patient,” her nomination states. She was also cited for recommending products for the department to offer and for her efforts to reduce food waste.
“The best part of my job is getting to know the patients. Everyone has a story, and hearing the patient’s story is what I love the most about my job,” said Holmes. “I love the ladies I work with. We are a great team, and I couldn’t ask for a better group of coworkers or a better director.”
Her mother is Cynthia Holmes, and she has a daughter, Ameria Moore. Holmes is a member of Fountain Head Missionary Baptist Church in West Point.
