North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton Honors Eller as Outstanding Employee
HAMILTON, Ala.—Tara Eller, who works in Emergency Department admissions at North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton, has been selected by her peers as the most recent Employee of the Quarter.
Eller joined the hospital staff in 2012. She is a graduate of Marion County High School, and she received an associate degree in office administration from Bevill State Community College in Hamilton.
In her nomination, Eller was praised for being dependable, compassionate and a team player. “I love working with Tara and we are lucky to have her as part of our team,” said a coworker who nominated Eller. “She is compassionate and so kind to her patients. She makes people feel comfortable.”
Eller says that she loves everyone she works with and that her team is like one big family. “We all work together to make sure our patients and their families are taken care of,” she said. “I also love the opportunity to help people and this job gives me the chance to do so. God has blessed me with a wonderful place to work.”
She and her husband Tim have six children – Michael Howard, 27; Corey Eller, 27; Andrew Eller, 25; Chris Eller, 24; Dustin Eller, 20; and Kara Eller, 16 – and seven grandchildren.
They attend Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church in Brilliant, where her grandfather, Bro. Widdy Atkins, retired from pastoring.
The Employee of the Quarter honor recognizes employees with exemplary job performance and customer service skills, as well as community involvement.
