North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton Names Taylor Employee of the Quarter
HAMILTON, Ala.—North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton recently named Tina Taylor, CNA, as the Employee of the Quarter.
Taylor has worked as a certified nursing assistant since 1990, joining the North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton nursing home in 2011.
She is a graduate of Fulton High School and attended Bevill State Community College.
She says what she loves most about her job is making a difference in the lives of her residents. “I work to make a sincere difference with each of them,” she said. “They depend on me to make sure they are taken care of and that all their needs are met before I go home. Many of our residents don’t have family members, so we become their family. I am there with them through the good times and the bad.”
She and her husband, Jason, have been married for 26 years. They have two sons – Adam, 25; and Zachary, 15.
She attends Cherry Hill Church of Christ.
A coworker who nominated Taylor said that she is always cheerful and willing to help anyone. “Tina pitches in without being asked,” one coworker said. “She is personable and polite and always has a smile. She loves her residents and taking care of them, and it shows. Our residents brag about the care Tina provides daily.”
The Employee of the Quarter honor recognizes employees with exemplary job performance and customer service skills, as well as community involvement.
