North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton Honors Guin as Outstanding Employee
HAMILTON, Ala.—Kim Guin, who works in Environmental Services at North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton, has been selected by her peers as the most recent Employee of the Quarter.
Guin joined the hospital staff in 2009. She is a 2002 graduate of Hamilton High School. She and her husband, Matt, have one 11-year-old daughter, Kloe.
“Thanks to Kim our hospital is praised in patient satisfaction surveys for the cleanliness of our facility and the friendliness of the Environmental Services staff,” wrote a coworker who nominated Guin. “She takes pride in what she does, she is very dependable and is a great teammate. You can count on her to do the right thing at all times.”
Guin says that the best part of her job is caring for patients and making sure everything is clean. “I love working with the EVS team,” she says. “I love what I do.”
In her free time, Guin enjoys round track racing with her family.
The Employee of the Quarter honor recognizes employees with exemplary job performance and customer service skills, as well as community involvement.
