North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton Honors Williams as Outstanding Employee
HAMILTON, Ala. - Amanda Williams, operating room technician at North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton, has been selected by her peers as the most recent Employee of the Quarter.
Williams joined the hospital staff in 2016. She is a graduate of Hamilton High School and attended the University of Alabama. She completed her surgical technologist training at Bevill State Community College.
She is married to Roy Williams and has three children, Alexa Box (William), Charie Pollard (Drake) and Samuel Williams. She is a member of Tidwell Chapel Church of Christ.
“Amanda is a team player,” said a coworker who nominated Williams. “She will work in any department as needed. She shows kindness in every interaction. She is always on time and ready to go each day. You can count on Amanda!”
Another coworker said that Williams is who she thinks of when she thinks of an Employee of the Quarter, because of her kindness.
Williams says the best part of her job is that each day is spent making a difference in the lives of others. “Whether it is caring for patients, assisting a family member, or working behind the scenes to keep the hospital running smoothly, I love the people I work with,” Williams said.
The Employee of the Quarter honor recognizes employees with exemplary job performance and customer service skills, as well as community involvement.
