WEST POINT, Miss.—Felicia Rice has been selected by her peers as North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point’s most recent Employee of the Quarter.
Rice joined the hospital’s Environmental Services staff in February 2017. She graduated from West Point High School and attended community college in Davenport, Iowa. She worked at Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen for eight years before joining the NMMC-West Point staff.
“Felicia always has a smile on her face no matter how hard she’s worked that day or how tired,” a coworker wrote in her nomination. “She greets everyone with a smile.” Coworkers also say she encourages others and is always willing to help.
“I love my job because everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission,” Rice said. “And I love that I have some wonderful coworkers.”
She is married to Orlando Rice Sr. and has two children—Orlando Rice Jr. and Damian Nance. She is a member of Lake Grove M.B. Church in Prairie.
