Heather Redwood, Administrator of Operations

Redwood graduated cum laude from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and accounting. She joined NMMC in 1996 and in 2001 transferred to the Family Medicine Residency Center. She is a certified member of the Association of Family Medicine Administrators and is currently pursuing certification with the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Gina W. Smith, LCSW

Gina joined NMMC in 1988 as a rehabilitation social worker. In 1990 she was named assistant director of social work and transferred to NMMC Home Health in 1993 where she served for 19 years. Smith's experience also includes inpatient discharge planning, hospice and oncology services. She joined the FMRC staff in October 2017. Smith is a graduate of Samford University with a bachelor's degree in sociology and the University of Alabama with a master's degree in social work.

James L. Taylor, Pharm.D.

Dr. Taylor holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi and is the Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Manager for NMMC. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Mississippi and Union University Pharmacy Schools.

Anita White

White serves as Residency Coordinator for the NMMC Family Medicine Residency Program. She joined the NMMC staff in 1993 and is a certified member of the Association of Family Medicine Administrators. White earned a degree in health sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and is secretary for the Itawamba County Master Gardeners.
