Cost of Surgery

Bariatric SurgeonsWe are often asked, "How much does weight loss surgery cost at North Mississippi Medical Center?"

Insurance will pay on bariatric surgery, as long as it is a covered benefit on the policy.

For individuals who do not have insurance or whose insurance does not cover weight loss surgery, we offer special pricing. Self-pay patients who complete our online seminar and qualify for vertical sleeve gastrectomy can take advantage of a special cash price of $12,500.

This special price includes:

  • Operating room fee
  • Surgeon’s fee
  • Anesthesia fee
  • Hospital stay of up to two nights (includes nursing care, lab work, X-rays, medications, in-hospital dietary consult)
  • Follow-up exams at two weeks, six weeks and three months (or more if needed within first 90 days)
  • Follow-up visits with the dietitian at two weeks and six weeks post-op

Our dedicated team works with you before, during and after surgery to help you achieve the full benefits of reaching an ideal weight.
