Angela Cooper DAISY Award Winner
TUPELO, Miss.—North Mississippi Medical Center’s March DAISY Award winner is Angela Cooper, RN, on 6 South. Karen George, director of nursing for medicine services at NMMC presented the award. Cooper received a certificate, a DAISY Award pin, a bouquet donated by Bishop’s Flower Shop and a hand-carved stone sculpture titled A Healer’s Touch.
Cooper earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2013. She is a 1999 graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Cooper began her NMMC career in 1997 as a certified nursing assistant and unit coordinator. She is married to Chad Cooper and resides in Mooreville.
