NMMC-Iuka Honors Spencer as Outstanding Employee
IUKA, Miss.—Jeannie Spencer, a registered nurse at North Mississippi Medical Center-Iuka, has been selected by her peers as NMMC-Iuka’s most recent Employee of the Quarter.
Spencer joined the hospital staff in 2005. She graduated from Tishomingo County High School.
She earned her associate’s degree in nursing at Northeast Mississippi Community College and her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of North Alabama. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Trauma Nursing Core Course.
“What I love most about my job is the ability to make a difference in someone’s life, even if it is just one person,” Spencer said.
In her nomination, Spencer was praised for her kindness and consideration toward patients, passion for delivering high-quality care and her high energy while performing duties. “We are lucky to have a dedicated person like her,” her nomination stated.
She is married to Jason Spencer and has two children, Jackson and Joshua. She is a member of Iuka Baptist Church.
