Denise Senior Named Employee of the Quarter at NMMC-Pontotoc
PONTOTOC, Miss.—Denise Senior, admissions counselor and receptionist for Business Services, has been named the most recent Employee of the Quarter at North Mississippi Medical Center-Pontotoc.
Senior started at Tupelo Service Finance in 2001. She joined NMMC-Pontotoc a year later before moving to NMMC-Tupelo to work in the Business Services department in 2009. From 2014 to 2017, Senior worked at Pontotoc Medical Clinic. She rejoined NMMC-Pontotoc in March 2017.
Senior graduated from Tupelo High School and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville.
“The thing I enjoy most about my job is meeting and greeting people,” Senior said. “The awesome people I work with also make my job more enjoyable.”
In her nomination, coworkers praised Senior for her positive attitude and skill in her job.
“Denise is very knowledgeable of her job,” one coworker wrote. “She treats patients, families and coworkers with respect. She is welcoming to customers that present to the Business Services area and projects an excellent first impression.”
Senior and her husband Steve have two daughters—Ivy Claire and Ashley Morgan. The family attends Chesterville Calvary Baptist Church. She also serves as a hospice volunteer and teaches a women’s class at her church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children dance and play sports.
