NMMC-West Point Names Dr. Caffrey ED Medical Director
WEST POINT, Miss.—North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point announces that Dr. James Caffrey has been named medical director for its Emergency Department.
Dr. Caffrey completed his undergraduate studies at Moravian College. He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pa., and completed his family medicine residency at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, N.J.
Dr. Caffrey is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and has enjoyed caring for patients for 27 years in emergency departments, a family practice training environment and at a federally-qualified health center.
Dr. Caffrey also served as the residency program director at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlethem, Pa., for 15 years. He is a native of Easton, Pa.
Outside of work, Dr. Caffrey enjoys the daily adventures associated with raising five children alongside his wife, Dr. Sabriya Scott-Caffrey.
