North Mississippi Medical Clinics Names Chief Operating Officer
TUPELO, Miss.—North Mississippi Medical Clinics recently named Molly Weldon as Chief Operating Officer.
“In her new role, Molly works with regional directors, physicians, advanced practice clinicians, clinic staff and other leaders to support operational excellence and continue pursuit of our mission and vision,” said David Barber, North Mississippi Medical Clinics president. “She will be a great addition to our team as we continue to broaden and deepen our efforts to add value to this health system and the people we serve.”
Weldon has more than 25 years of progressive practice management. She recently held the position of Vice President of Clinic Operations for Mercy Health in St. Louis, Mo., where she has served since 2009. She has served in leadership roles for a number of highly regarded organizations.
Weldon holds a bachelor’s degree in education from St. Louis University and is a Certified Medical Practice Executive through the Medical Group Management Association.
She is married to Jim Weldon, chief information officer for North Mississippi Health Services, and they have two children – Tessa, a junior at Lindenwood University, and Zach, a sophomore at Tupelo High School.
North Mississippi Medical Clinics includes primary care and specialty clinics in north Mississippi and northwest Alabama.
