NMMC Emergency Services, Relias Healthcare to Sponsor Community Egg Hunt
TUPELO, Miss.—Area families are invited to a free Community Egg Hunt and other activities from 10-11:30 a.m. on Good Friday, April 19, at Ballard Park, sponsored by North Mississippi Medical Center’s Emergency Services Department and Relias Healthcare. All activities will be set up on soccer fields located on the park’s south side.
The egg hunt begins at 10:45 a.m. More than 10,000 candy-filled eggs will be divided among the following age groups: 0-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-6 years and 7-10 years.
In addition to NMMC Emergency Department, Ambulance Services, CareFlight medical helicopter and Carexpress, participants will include Tupelo Police Department, Tupelo Fire Department, Lee County Sheriff’s Office and volunteer first responders.
The NMMC Trauma Department will teach bicycle and helmet safety. The Trauma Department Bunny along with Vince and Larry, the Crash Test Dummies, will be on hand. The Trauma Department will offer free Easter tattoos.
