North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton Scholarships Awarded
HAMILTON, Ala.— North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton has awarded $1,000 college scholarships to two recent graduates.
Mya Mujica is a recent graduate of Hackleburg High School. She plans to attend Northwest-Shoals Community College to pursue a degree in nursing. She is the daughter of Erik and Angela Mujica.
Emma Smith is a graduate of Hamilton High School. She plans to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham and major in nursing. She is the daughter of Kerry and Sherry Smith.
The scholarships are awarded through the Health Care Foundation of North Mississippi to graduating high school seniors pursuing a health care career. Applicants are judged on ACT score, high school transcript, curriculum taken as it pertains to the chosen field, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation and their personal statements.
