TUPELO, Miss.—Richard Provenzano, an Environmental Services technician, recently received North Mississippi Medical Center’s BEE (Beyond Exceptional Expectations) Award for September.
Provenzano, who provides housekeeping and floor care in the Emergency Department, was nominated by a nurse for always going above and beyond to help in any way possible. An Emergency Department physician noted how appreciative she is to be able to work alongside him. “As a team, we want you to know what a difference you make and that we couldn’t do it without you,” the nomination states. “Thank you for all you do.”
Provenzano, who lives in Hatley, joined the NMMC staff in September 2019. He relocated to north Mississippi from Florida, where he created signs and graphics for 30 years, to be near his wife Pamela’s family.
He received a certificate, a BEE Award pin, a bouquet donated by Bishop’s Flower Shop and a cake. The BEE Award is given to a deserving caregiver each month at NMMC. Nomination forms are available throughout NMMC or at www.nmhs.net/bee-award. For more information, call (662) 377-3431 or email BEEAwards@nmhs.net.
