About Me
Nurse practitioner Shaneeka Hamlett comes to North Mississippi Medical Center Hematology Oncology after serving as the lead nurse practitioner at Oncology San Antonio in Texas.
Since she started her nursing career in 2006, much of her focus has been caring for cancer patients and administering chemotherapy. She has also worked in critical care, orthopedics, nephrology and rehabilitation roles.
At NMMC-Tupelo, she served as a registered nurse and nursing leader between 2011 and 2019 before becoming a nurse practitioner.
She earned her associate and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Mississippi University for Women and her master’s degree from Walden University School of Nursing.
Connected Care Partners is a group of health care providers working for and with North Mississippi Health Services to improve patient care.
