Hoat Minh Hoang, MD

Dr. Hoat Hoang is a general surgeon. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his general surgery residency at LSU Health Sciences Center.

Board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Hoang specializes in thyroid, breast, advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. His practice also includes screening and diagnostic endoscopy, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.

Dr. Hoang says health care has always been his calling. “I have always been humbled by the complexity of God’s creation,” he said. “Playing a small role in healing has been truly rewarding.” He adds that trust remains the foundation of his practice. “Combining the tradition of caring with the latest surgical advancements is what allows us to continue delivering excellent care,” he said.
