Daniel Murry Eddings, FNP, RN
About Me
Daniel Eddings, NP-C, works with neurosurgeons and other nurse practitioners as part of a team that cares for patients with brain, spinal cord and nerve disorders.
A 2006 graduate of New Albany High School, Daniel has lived in Amory since 2010. He holds an associate degree in nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women. He has several years of experience in emergency, cancer and orthopedic care.
Daniel completed his master’s degree in nursing and nurse practitioner training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2019.
“I chose a career in health care because I wanted to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” he said. “No matter which path I chose, I wanted to help and serve others. I enjoy building trusting relationships with patients, solving complex medical problems and continually learning.”
Eddings is also passionate about physical fitness, especially hybrid workouts that combine strength and endurance training and challenge him both mentally and physically. Outside work, he spends most of his time with his wife, Amanda, and three children, Landon, Layla and Laney. “Walking beside my wife and watching my kids grow is a true blessing,” he said.
Connected Care Partners is a group of health care providers working for and with North Mississippi Health Services to improve patient care.
