About Me
Keri Reeves Merschman, M.D., is a Hamilton native. She graduated summa cum laude from Judson College in Marion with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She completed the University of Alabama School of Medicine Rural Medicine Program, and received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. She completed her family medicine residency at the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa.
“Being a doctor is all I have ever wanted to be, ever since I was a kid in Dr. Pyle’s office,” she says. “In high school I decided I wanted to come back home. This is the only place I could ever see myself. I only left to get my training done, and I couldn’t wait to get back. Hamilton is the only place I could ever see myself.”
