About Me
Dr. Mitchell says she chose health care randomly, but is glad she did. “I feel it is my calling,” she says. “It offers me a lot and I feel I also have a lot to offer. It’s a symbiotic relationship in which both benefit.”
Dr. Mitchell is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She completed her medical studies at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile.
In her spare time, Dr. Mitchell enjoys being outdoors – including hiking, camping, climbing and relaxing in nature. She also enjoys motorcycles, rollerblading, jogging and mentoring youth.
