About Me
Dr. Lakeisha Chism is a primary care physician at Verona Medical Clinic. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis in 2009 and her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville in 2013. She completed her family medicine residency at the NMMC Family Medicine Residency Center.
Dr. Chism says she chose a career in health care because she enjoys interacting with people and developing meaningful relationships. She loves the challenge of trying to solve problems.
“I enjoy taking care of several generations of the same family,” she says of her medical career. “I love seeing patients become more involved in and excited about their health.”
In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, trying new foods, spending time with her family and watching movies.
