Curtis Glidewell, M.D., graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. He received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, and recently completed his family medicine residency at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Ga.
"I knew from an early age that I wanted to help people and what better way to do that than become a health care provider. As I grew more familiar with the medical field, I developed a love of family medicine, in that I can care for all ages and diseases. That passion continues to this day as I look forward to developing a relationship with and helping each and every one of my patients.”
“As a native of north Mississippi, growing up, when you were sick and had to go to the hospital, you went to a North Mississippi Medical Center facility; no questions asked. The care provided by NMMC physicians, nurses and staff far exceeds, at least in my experience, the care provided by other facilities. So, naturally, when the opportunity came to become a part of that rich tradition of high quality healthcare, I was honored and excited to do so.”
Dr. Glidewell’s hobbies include spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys essentially all sporting events, but
especially watching the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Dr. Glidewell is board certified in family medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians and Mississippi State Medical Association.
