Dr. Demetrio Prota received his medical degree from the UNIBE School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed a psychiatry residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center at Weill Cornell Medical College in Bronx, N.Y., where he served as chief resident. He completed a fellowship in electroconvulsive therapy at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
