The NMMC Wellness Center in Tupelo offers the following exercise classes:
Advanced Circuit Training (ACT)
A class that alternates cardiovascular with segments of training (meets on the fitness floor).
A class that will have you moving from cardio, body weight exercises and strength training exercises. This class will push you much harder than you will push yourself.
A class designed for individuals with any physical limitations. This class uses chairs for all the exercises.
Ladies Circuit Conditioning
This low impact, high intensity class that helps tone your body with strength training and cardio segments.
Super fun and hard core class. If you want to work hard, sweat and see results with cardio and strength training, then this is the class for you!
Light to moderate class that will slowly work on improving overall cardio endurance, flexibility, balance and muscle strength.
Gentle Restorative Yoga
A gentle class for those wishing to slow down their pace. Focus is on breathing, balance, stretching and releasing tension. Restorative yoga brings harmony to the body's rhythms. Props are used to place the body in comfortable relaxing poses. This enables the mind to clear, the breath to deepen and the body to easily relax.
A water class that includes cardio conditioning and strength conditioning.

HIIT & Core
This high-intensity interval training is a training technique in which you give all-out, 100% effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods.
This class will constantly challenge your muscles. A moderate to high intense total body workout that will make you sweat!
If you want to burn more calories without spending more time working out then this class is for you! This class alternates short burst of intense exercise followed with a longer, less intense exercise.
Lite Circuit /Girls Circuit / CV Lite Circuit
A class using the strength machines and walking track on the fitness floor.
A slow paced class designed to help you learn choreographed dance moves such as Electric Slide, cupid shuffle and many more. A class for all levels. Let your inner youth shine through!
This class will work on total body shaping utilizing bands, weights and benches.
Pilates is focused on improving flexibility, strength and body awareness. Two key elements of Pilates are core muscle strength and spinal alignment. This class concentrates deeply on core muscles, as well as on the breath, the contraction of muscles and quality of movements.

Spin, strength and core all in one class!
All the fun step moves while incorporating dumbbells for strength and toning.
STRONG by Zumba
Combines high intensity interval training body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training while using the science of synced music motivation. Learn to train to the beat instead of counting reps. All levels of fitness can participate.
T'ai Chi Chih
A series of 19 movements that improve balance, physical fitness, flexibility and stamina.
An all levels class suitable for anyone able to sit on the floor and/or on hands and knees. Yoga creates balance, flexibility and strength.
Yoga Mix/Yoga Flow
A yoga-based class that is a motivating blend of Yoga, T'ai Chi Chih and Pilates. Classified as low intensity but challenging. Work on strength and flexibility while burning calories.
A fusion of Latin and International music/dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness workout! The routines feature simple, easy to follow, repetitive dance steps, aerobic/fitness interval training that tone and sculpt the body. This class is designed for all fitness levels... even those with two left feet!
