North Mississippi Medical Center provides long-term and short-term care at several locations:
A staff of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants provide 24-hour care under the supervision of a physician director.
A social work and activity staff provide leisure and entertainment opportunities for residents.
Available services include:
- Physical therapy
- Speech therapy
- Respiratory therapy
- Personal care
- Wound care
- IV therapy
- Daily activities including exercise, games, educational offerings, crafts and musical guests
Short-term care provides individuals with skilled services for up to 100 days before they are discharged to home or elsewhere.
Long-term care provides a “home” to residents who require extended care.
