WEST POINT, Miss.—North Mississippi Wound Center-West Point invites the community to an open house from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at 104 Medical Center Drive.

Participants will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the team, enjoy refreshments and register for a gift card from Health Care Foundation of North Mississippi.

The new center opened Sept. 2 to expand access to specialized care for people with wounds that are slow or difficult to heal.

Proper wound care is especially important for people with diabetes, poor circulation or other conditions that can make healing more difficult. Anyone whose wound has not started to heal within two weeks or has not completely healed within six weeks may benefit from specialized wound care.
