WEST POINT, Miss. — Erin Ward, FNP, has joined West Point Children’s Clinic, providing care for infants, children and adolescents.

Ward earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Alabama. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent 14 years as a registered nurse caring for infants, children and their families.

“I’m most looking forward to getting to know my patients and their families and building relationships with them over the years,” Ward said. “I love pediatrics, and I’m excited to watch children grow, support their families along the way and hopefully make coming to the doctor a little less scary.”

David Barber, president of North Mississippi Medical Clinics, said Ward’s extensive pediatric nursing experience and passion for caring for children make her a valuable addition to the West Point Children’s Clinic team.

“Erin brings years of experience caring for children and a genuine passion for supporting families,” Barber said. “Her background in pediatric nursing gives her a strong foundation for this new role, and we are excited for families in West Point to get to know her and experience the compassionate care she provides.”

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, traveling and taking road trips. She also enjoys all things vintage and owns a small vintage shop that began as a hobby.
