Meet Benjamin Googe, MD
Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Googe is a board-certified plastic surgeon and member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons with a special interest in cosmetic surgery of the face and body, as well as breast reconstruction. A native of New Albany, he attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Outside of work, Dr. Googe enjoys spending time with his wife, Amber Bailey Googe, a pediatrician at NMMC, and their three children. He also enjoys cooking, travel and running.

A Background in Research & Innovation
Dr. Googe studied biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University, focusing on cell and tissue engineering. As an undergraduate, he helped design two medical devices, including a malar implant for mid-face lift procedures, and became a co-author on multiple patents.
His research has also appeared in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters and has been presented at regional, national and international plastic surgery conferences.

Laken Franks, RN
Laken Franks of Mantachie is a registered nurse with North Mississippi Plastic Surgery.
“What I love most about my job is being there to see a patient make a full circle,” she says. “Seeing the before, the recovery process and the complete healing stage brings me joy!”
Madeline Elder, CSFA
Madeline Elder is a Certified Surgical First Assist who cares for patients alongside Dr. Googe in surgery and in the clinic.
She loves being with patients throughout the journey, starting with their consult and continuing through their surgery and follow-up appointments.
Teraney Camille White, CLPN
Teraney White of Mooreville is our office nurse who escorts patients to their exam room, collects health information, takes vital signs and assists Dr. Googe.
