Baby-Friendly Designation
- NMMC Women’s Hospital in Tupelo was re-designated as a Baby-Friendly facility, the gold standard in infant care.

ISO 9001 Certification
DNV awarded NMHS full certification to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. ISO 9001 brings science to the art of caregiving. It helps standardize processes around things that are proven to work by the people doing the work.

North Mississippi Wound Center-Tupelo earned the President’s Circle Award, Healogics’ highest honor awarded to only 35 centers nationwide this year.

NMMC achieved the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program’s Comprehensive Center Accreditation, demonstrating that our weight loss surgery program meets rigorous standards.
Healogics Centers of Distinction
Healogics named North Mississippi Wound Centers in Amory and Tupelo as Centers of Distinction for achieving outstanding clinical outcomes for 12 consecutive months, including patient satisfaction above 92%. The wound centers in Winfield, Alabama, and Tupelo were named Healogics Centers of Excellence.
Babies with Books NICU Read-A- Thon
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at NMMC Women’s Hospital in Tupelo ranked No. 7 out of 249 hospitals worldwide during the international Babies with Books NICU Read-A- Thon. NICU staff and families logged 1,995 reading sessions that week.
Chest Pain-MI Registry® Platinum Performance Achievement Award
The American College of Cardiology recognized NMMC-Tupelo with a Chest Pain-MI Registry® Platinum Performance Achievement Award for demonstrating sustained, top-level performance in quality of care and adherence to guideline recommendations.
