You will get a call the day before your surgery to inform you of the arrival time. If your surgery is on a Monday, you will receive the call on the Friday before your surgery.
Yes, your driver must stay the entire duration of your surgery.
If you must cancel or reschedule your upcoming surgery, please notify our office as soon as possible. We do not offer refunds for surgeries cancelled within four weeks of surgery unless approved by Dr. Googe and the practice manager.
The surgeon fee and CosmetAssure (insurance) must be paid in full to our clinic one month prior to surgery. Anesthesia and facility fees will be paid at your pre-admission testing appointment. You cannot make payments earlier for anesthesia and facility. Some banks require prior notification to approve large transactions, so you may want to consider reaching out to your bank prior to paying for surgery.
If your insurance changes, please notify our office as soon as possible. Most insurance plans require pre-authorization for procedures, so we must get your surgery approved in advance in order for it to be covered.
A pre-admission testing appointment is required for all surgeries. It must be completed in person. Our nurses will call you with the appointment date and time, typically two weeks prior to your surgery.
At the appointment, you will answer questions about your health. You will likely have blood drawn for lab work. You may have other tests depending on your surgery type and your health history. These tests are to ensure you are healthy enough for surgery.
If testing, imaging or labs are needed prior to surgery, Dr. Googe and our nurses will have informed you in the consultation. Our nurses will be in contact with you to schedule any testing you may need prior to your scheduled surgery.
Mandatory nicotine cessation is six weeks prior to surgery. A positive nicotine test will result in cancellation of surgery. No refund will be given, and we will not reschedule. If you have any issues with nicotine cessation, please contact our office as soon as possible to avoid cancellation of surgery and loss of deposit.
