Blair Elmore Buschmann, MD

Dr. Blair Buschmann graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, with a bachelor's degree in biology and psychology. She was on the gymnastics team from 2012-2016, serving as team captain her senior year.  

Dr. Buschmann earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She completed four years of OB-GYN residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine-Chattanooga.

She and her husband, Tanner, have a daughter named Hayden, two golden retrievers, Berkley and Autumn, and a cat, Albus. When not working, they enjoy traveling, anything water-related (beaches, boats, lakes, fishing), hiking, reading, spending time with friends and family and trying out different restaurants. 

She became an OB-GYN because she enjoys caring for women at every stage of life and building lasting relationships with her patients. She appreciates the unique continuity of care the specialty provides, allowing her to support women through preventive care, pregnancy, gynecologic concerns and menopause. She was also drawn to the breadth of the field, which integrates outpatient medicine, surgical management and obstetric care.
