About Me
Certified pediatric nurse practitioner Rebakah Huey earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in 2013. She completed her master’s degree in nursing with a dual focus in primary and acute care in 2017 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
“I grew up watching my hero—my mother—work in health care all of my life,” Rebakah says. “She’s my inspiration for my career, along with my love for helping others.
Rebakah has extensive nursing experience, including working many years at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. She has also assisted with Camp Hopewell, a camp for children with diabetes, in Oxford.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Shane, and three fur babies—Bama, Cody and Josi, as well as traveling and reading.
Connected Care Partners is a group of health care providers working for and with North Mississippi Health Services to improve patient care.
