North Mississippi Medical Center appoints Megan Bunch, MSN, RN, as associate chief nursing officer, building on her leadership and dedication to patient care.

TUPELO, Mississippi— North Mississippi Medical Center recently named Megan Bunch, MSN, RN, as associate chief nursing officer.

Bunch began her nursing career at NMMC in 2008 after earning her associate degree in nursing from Itawamba Community College. She completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2011 and a master’s degree in nursing in 2015, both from the University of North Alabama in Florence.

Bunch has served in several roles at NMMC, including cardiology staff nurse, clinical educator, nurse manager and inpatient nursing director. She was named senior director of nursing in 2022.

Bunch previously served on the Advisory Board for Itawamba Community College’s nursing program, where she contributed significantly to the advancement of nursing education.

She and her husband, Lee, live in Houston with their two daughters—Rae Ann and Maddie. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family and is active with her church.
