Dr. Ryan Sessums Joins Pulmonary Consultants at NMHS
Dr. Ryan Sessums joins Pulmonary Consultants in Tupelo, bringing expertise in pulmonary and critical care to serve patients across North Mississippi.TUPELO, Miss – North Mississippi Health Services is pleased to welcome Dr. Ryan Sessums to Pulmonary Consultants. Dr. Sessums will care for patients with pulmonary and critical care needs across the region.
A graduate of the University of Mississippi in 2015, Dr. Sessums earned a medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. At the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, he completed residency training and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
Board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine, Dr. Sessums chose a career in health care to improve the health of the population.
“I’m looking forward to caring for the patients served by our system while working alongside the wonderful pulmonary and critical care staff,” Dr. Sessums said.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Sessums to our team,” said David Barber, president of North Mississippi Medical Clinics. “His expertise in pulmonary and critical care medicine will help us continue providing exceptional care for patients across our communities.”
Outside of work, Dr. Sessums enjoys running and exercising in the early mornings and reading before the workday begins. He and his wife, who is a therapist, have two young children.
Dr. Sessums joins Drs.
