TUPELO, Miss. — North Mississippi Health Services is pleased to welcome Dr. Anna McCoy, to IMA-Tupelo, where she will provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages.

Dr. McCoy completed her undergraduate studies at Northeast Mississippi Community College in 2016 and Mississippi State University in 2018. She earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2022, where she also completed her residency training.

“There are many experiences that led me to choose health care, but at the heart of it, I have always loved taking care of people,” Dr. McCoy said. “I truly feel called to this profession, and I am excited to build lasting relationships with my patients and coworkers here at NMHS.”

In her role at IMA-Tupelo, Dr. McCoy looks forward to providing compassionate, high-quality family medicine while forming meaningful, long-term connections with the patients she serves.

“Dr. McCoy’s dedication to patient care and her passion for building strong relationships make her an excellent addition to our family medicine team,” said David Barber, president of North Mississippi Medical Clinics. “Her training and commitment to service will be a tremendous asset to IMA-Tupelo and the communities we serve.”

Outside of the clinic, Dr. McCoy enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with her family. She is married to Lee McCoy, and they have one daughter, Amelia.
