TUPELO, Miss. — North Mississippi Health Services is pleased to welcome Christopher Tidwell, MD, to Rheumatology Consultants. Dr. Tidwell brings advanced training in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases along with a commitment to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care.

Dr. Tidwell completed his medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 2020, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He later completed a rheumatology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Tidwell cherishes quality time with his family, which includes his wife, Hannah, their 15-month-old son, Martin, and their beloved pets. He is an avid Auburn University sports enthusiast and rarely misses a football or basketball game. In addition, Dr. Tidwell enjoys planning projects on his family’s farm and has a keen interest in history.
