Dr. Riley Alef Joins New Albany Medical Clinic
North Mississippi Health Services is pleased to welcome family medicine physician Riley Alef, MD, to New Albany Medical Clinic.
NEW ALBANY, Miss. — North Mississippi Health Services is pleased to welcome family medicine physician Riley Alef, MD, to New Albany Medical Clinic.
A New Albany native, Dr. Alef earned an associate degree from Northeast Mississippi Community College and a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi before completing medical school at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He recently completed the North Mississippi Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Tupelo.
"I'm looking forward to developing lasting relationships with my patients," Dr. Alef said. "It is a privilege to return to my hometown to practice medicine, and I hope to give back even a fraction of what Union County has given to me throughout my life. I've also known some of my coworkers since my clinical rotations at New Albany Medical Clinic, and I'm excited to work alongside them again."
Dr. Alef will provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive care, management of chronic conditions and treatment of acute illnesses.

Outside of work, Dr. Alef enjoys spending time with his wife, Shelby, along with family and friends. The couple are avid Ole Miss and college sports fans. He also enjoys cooking and golfing. They share their home with two dogs, Jackson and Benny.
