Iuka, Miss. — North Mississippi Health Services is pleased to welcome nurse practitioner Harlie Wood, to the team at Iuka Medical Clinic, where she serves patients as a family nurse practitioner with a strong focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Wood completed her associate degree at Northeast Mississippi Community College in 2019, followed by her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Alabama in 2025.

“From my earliest memories, I knew I wanted to become a nurse,” Wood said. “My favorite part of nursing is making meaningful connections with patients, so they always feel loved and heard. I am passionate about providing excellent, compassionate care and improving the health of everyone I encounter.”

Wood is excited to continue her career with NMHS and bring high-quality care to families in the Iuka community.

Outside of the clinic, Wood enjoys spending time with her family and making memories. She is married to Kyle Wood and they two sons, Baker and Wylder.
