TUPELO, Miss.—Emilee Manahan, PA-C, recently joined North Mississippi Medical Center’s Heart and Vascular Institute as a physician assistant in cardiac electrophysiology.

In her new role, Manahan will help physicians care for patients with heart rhythm disorders, also known as arrhythmias, in NMMC’s cardiac electrophysiology lab.

A 2019 graduate of Alcorn Central High School in Corinth, Manahan earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi in 2023. She completed her master’s degree at Mississippi State University in May and is board certified as a physician assistant.

“I chose a career in health care because I value teamwork and the difference we can make in the lives of patients and their families,” Manahan says. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn from those around me, provide compassionate care and be there for patients during some of life’s most difficult moments. I’m excited for this journey and honored to be part of this profession.”

As a north Mississippi native, Manahan looks forward to building meaningful relationships with patients, their families and her colleagues while providing quality care close to home.

Outside of work, she enjoys being active in her church, needlepointing, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels. She is engaged to marry Wiley Henshaw in August.
