About Me
Dr. Eric Lewis earned his bachelor’s degree in bioengineering from Texas A&M University in College Station. He received his medical training from Meharry Medical College in Nashville and completed his internship in general surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Lewis completed an orthopedic surgery residency and fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston with further fellowships in hand and microsurgery at Baylor University in Houston. Before relocating to Tupelo, Dr. Lewis worked at the Naval Hospital in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He is board certified and specializes in orthopaedic surgery of the elbow, wrist and hand.
Dr. Lewis offers treatment for a variety of conditions including carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis of the hand and wrist, complex hand and wrist fractures, De Quervain’s tendinosis, Dupuytren’s contracture, ganglion cysts, hand and wrist sports injuries, trigger finger, wrist injuries and more.
