About Me
Martina Dianna Gilliam, FNP-C, cares for patients managing chronic pain and provides evaluations before and after injections. She also provides medical cannabis evaluations and treatment for substance use disorders.
Martina is a graduate of Thrasher High School. She earned her practical nursing degree from Itawamba Community College. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Excelsior University and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Capella University.
Martina completed her master’s degree and nurse practitioner training at Walden University in 2024. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
“Health care allows me to combine compassion with clinical knowledge to improve patients’ quality of life,” Martina says. “Being able to help someone feel heard, relieved and cared for gives my work purpose beyond just a job.”
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Tim, and spending time with her two daughters and six grandchildren. “My family is my greatest joy, and I cherish the time we spend together,” she says. “I value balance and believe taking time to reset and connect with loved ones helps me show up fully for my patients.”
Connected Care Partners is a group of health care providers working for and with North Mississippi Health Services to improve patient care.
