Gilliam completed her master’s degree and nurse practitioner training at Walden University in 2024. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the National Society of Leadership and Success.

“Health care allows me to combine compassion with clinical knowledge to improve patients’ quality of life,” Gilliam said. “Being able to help someone feel heard, relieved and
cared for gives my work purpose beyond just a job.”

She said she looks forward to continuing to build strong patient relationships and contributing to a team that puts patient-centered care first.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Tim, and spending time with her two daughters and six grandchildren. “My family is my greatest joy, and I cherish the time we spend together,” she said. “I value balance and believe taking time to reset and connect with loved ones helps me show up fully for my patients.”
