The NMHS Marketing Department Receives Three Maggie Awards
The North Mississippi Health Services Marketing Department recently received three Maggie Awards from the Mississippi Hospital Association.
NMHS’ winning entries included Website Produced Externally for www.nmhs.net/connect, featuring content written by NMHS physicians, leaders and other health care professionals. Connect provides a credible source of online health information.
The logo for NMMC’s new Neuroscience Institute took top honors in Logo Design Produced In-House.
A feature on Art Gentry of Amory, that shared his struggles and recovery from COVID-19, won the Maggie Award for Best External Writing. The story was shared on NMHS social media channels and was published in the Monroe Journal.
The Maggie Award is the highest award presented by the hospital association and recognizes excellence in the field of health care marketing and public relations in Mississippi. The name Maggie is derived from the state flower, the Magnolia.
The awards are sponsored by MHA’s Society for Health Care Marketing and Public Relations. The society advances the development of effective marketing and public relations in hospitals, health systems and other health care related fields.
