Meet our Family Medicine Residents
First Year Residents
Class of 2028
Dr. Christman earned her undergraduate degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In her free time she enjoys pilates, baking, pickleball and spending time with her husband, Brian Christman, and their two cats, Neville and Luna.

Originally from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, [Name] earned an undergraduate degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, before completing a medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

A Ripley native, Dr. Davis earned a degree in chemistry and a certification in child advocacy studies from Mississippi State University before completing her medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is passionate about family medicine because it allows her to build lasting relationships and provide compassionate, trauma-informed care. Excited to return home, she looks forward to serving families in north Mississippi. In her free time, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with her family, friends and puppies.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Hannah Soni earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham before completing her medical degree at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee. Outside of medicine, she enjoys playing tennis and relaxing with friends and family.

Originally from Tishomingo, Mississippi, Dr. Powell completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi. She is excited to be back in northeast Mississippi to continue her medical journey. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, photography, camping and hiking.

Dr. Kaur earned her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine after completing both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Mississippi College. She is committed to lifelong learning and values building strong, meaningful connections with her patients and the communities she serves.

Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, Dr. Eldridge earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master’s degree from the University of Alabama before completing her medical degree at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. She enjoys group fitness classes, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family and friends. Passionate about serving rural and underserved communities in the Deep South, her goal is to lead with compassion while improving patient outcomes.

Dr. Chang earned his medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York and his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Before entering medical school, he spent more than five years as a researcher at Johns Hopkins Medicine, focusing on tuberculosis research.

Second Year Residents
Class of 2027

Dr. Harville earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson.

Dr. Mohammed was born and raised in Parkland, Florida. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton. In his free time he enjoys playing pickleball and basketball, watching live sports, binging TV shows and movies and spending time with his wife, Sanya, and their kitten, Misa.

Dr. Purvis earned her medical degree from William Carey in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Tori Schrock earned her medical degree from the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Originally from Amory, Mississippi, she completed her undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University, where she majored in biological sciences. In her free time, Tori enjoys fishing, playing video games and spending time with her husband. She is excited to continue her journey in family medicine at NMMC.

Dr. Stidham is from Fayette, Alabama, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine and is a family medicine resident at North Mississippi Medical Center. He enjoys preventive care and procedures and spends his free time fishing, enjoying the outdoors and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Dr. Taylor is from Booneville, Mississippi and earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine in Jackson.

Dr. Willoughby earned her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee.

Dr. Wilson earned his medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio.

Third Year Residents
Class of 2026
Dr. Alef is originally from New Albany, Mississippi. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Northeast Mississippi Community College and the University of Mississippi. He went on to complete a Master of Biomedical Science at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he also earned his medical degree. Dr. Alef is married to his wife, Shelby.

Dr. Chandler received his undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville.

Dr. Franks is a Tupelo native. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology from Mississippi State University. She went on to receive both her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.

Dr. Hickman received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from William Carey University in Hattiesburg.

Dr. Hubbard received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in Oxford and his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Dr. Robbins received her undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and her medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
